Make it Light Up! Crafting with Circuits

In this creative summer class, students ages 9-12 will combine art, sewing, and simple circuitry to create projects that light up. Young makers will learn how to safely use LED lights, batteries, and conductive thread while exploring paper art, origami, and soft materials like felt. Projects will include light-up pop-up cards, glowing origami, sewn bookmarks, and playful felt monsters with illuminated features. Along the way, students will build problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence while discovering how art and technology can work together.
